September and October were a true celebration of the AGL spirit, a period where our zeal reached its zenith. We successfully blended the world of Innovation, Culture, and Collective Growth. From the intense problem-solving of our Hackathon to the vibrant Navrang Utsav and the grand Diwali celebrations, we proved that we excel both in the workplace and in shared festivities. AGL Hackathon 2025
We witnessed an extraordinary showcase of innovation, creativity, and teamwork during the AGL Hackathon (September 6th & 7th). The two days of non-stop coding, collaboration, and problem-solving culminated in the announcement of the champions on September 10th. This Hackathon was more than an event; it was a powerful reminder of how bold ideas can be turned into real-world impact.
Patna Office Inauguration
We were thrilled to expand our presence in the east with the inauguration of our Patna Office on September 4th, marking another significant step in AGL’s continuous growth journey.
Onam Celebration
The festive season began with the Onam celebration at our Chennai Office on September 4th, where our team came together to celebrate the traditional festival with floral decorations and enthusiasm.
Navrang Utsav 2025
We celebrated Navratri with the Navrang Utsav 2025, a two-day festival filled with culture, fun activities, and togetherness. On September 25th, the day's events included the Navrang Bollywood Quiz (testing 'filmy' knowledge), Wall/Canvas Painting themed 'Shakti Within' in Gurugram, and Navratri Canvas Painting in Jaipur. On September 26th, the festivities continued with "Strings of Celebration: Decorative Hanging" workshops in Gurugram and the remote community, and a high-energy Garba & Dandiya Fit session.
October shone brightly, quite literally, as we geared up for Diwali, embracing creativity, fun, and collective celebration across all our locations.
The Grand Diwali Celebration
We lit up the festivities with the Grand Diwali Celebration across AGL, ensuring both our in-office and remote teams felt the joy of the Festival of Lights. At our Gurugram office, October 15th was dedicated to creativity and knowledge. We organised candle-making and glow bottle-making workshops. Along with these exciting events, we hosted the Diwali Quiz: Legends, Reels & Mythology. On October 16th, the main event featured a Talent Show, Live Music, and Diwali Mela Stalls. From delicious pickles and lovely diyas to homemade cookies and fun games, AGL’s Diwali Mela was a hit!
Our Chennai office was not far behind. They had activities such as Cooking without Fire and AGL T-shirt Day, lively events like Tambola, Chat Stall, Ethnic Wear Day, a Talent Show (Music & Dance), and fun games & activities. AGLites in Jaipur, Mohali, and Patna celebrated Diwali with music and fun, delicious food, ethnic dress code, and engaging activities. With so much happening across AGL offices, we made sure our remote AGLites got to celebrate with as much gusto. They celebrated the "Light Up the Festivities" Talent Show and a Festive Quiz, bringing the celebration to the digital space.
The electric atmosphere of the last two months, the brilliant code, the festive lights, and the spirit of togetherness will serve as the fuel for our journey forward. We are committed to fostering this dual culture of professional excellence and deep connection. The Diwali celebration felt like a warm hug. Singing Chandaniya made the moment even more special, as it’s a song filled with pure love and warmth and has always been close to my heart. The support, encouragement, and cheerful applause from everyone made me feel truly appreciated and left me smiling throughout. I really enjoyed participating in the Diwali Fiesta workshop. The session was well-organized, engaging, and creatively designed. Being part of the Shakti Within wall-painting activity for Navratri was a truly special experience. It was more than a painting, it was a collective expression of joy and togetherness.
Canvas painting was an amazing experience. It is a great way to express one’s feelings, and it brings a sense of peace and relaxation. While painting, I felt refreshed and truly enjoyed the process, especially because my artwork was centered around Nari Shakti.
The wall-hanging activity was a joyful and engaging hands-on experience, perfectly capturing the vibrant spirit of Navratri. Since it was my first time creating such artwork, it felt both exciting and refreshing. Designing and decorating the wall hanging helped me explore my creativity in a whole new way. Crafting it from scratch was calming, enjoyable, and truly rewarding. It was a wonderful introduction to festive art, beautifully blending patience, imagination, and learning throughout the process.
Participating in the recent Assistive Intelligence Hackathon organized by AGL was an amazing and one-of-a-kind experience, which focused not only on creating new solutions but also on learning new techniques regarding how AI can be utilized to solve a variety of problems; my team tackled the challenge of eliminating bottlenecks in marketing data interpretation by designing and building SmartSense, a smart, conversational analytics assistant that generates real-time insights and visualizations from sales and campaign data using natural language queries; as a Project Manager, I worked closely with my team to establish an efficient user flow and bring a fresh perspective to the provided challenge, and the collaborative atmosphere, where all teams shared their knowledge and insights, made the hackathon an exceptionally fun, intensive, and highly valuable knowledge-sharing activity overall.
