Rules & Guidelines:

Team Rules

  • A maximum of 15 teams can participate in the hackathon with selection based on their ideation and approach.
  • Each team can have up to 4 members.
  • Each team has to select 2 tasks and finally work on only 1 of them based on the final discussion with the mentors.

    • One task must be chosen from the provided list.
    • The second task can be either team-proposed or chosen again from the provided list.
  • All team members must register before the registration stops. [One member should register for the whole team].
  • Participants can only be part of one team, and once a team is declared, it cannot be changed.
  • There are no restrictions on the skillset a member contributes to their team.
  • The selection of the team and final judgment will be solely at the discretion of the mentors.

     

Task Guidelines

  • Tasks should center on automation and incorporate AI, ML, Data Science, or LLM-based solutions.
  • Use of pre-trained models, open-source datasets, or libraries is permitted but must be disclosed.
  • All code must be developed during the hackathon timeframe.
  • Teams are required to maintain a project repository (e.g., GitHub) with regular commits.
  • All problem statements will be hosted on Google Cloud; please design your approach accordingly.

    Final submission must include:

    • Source code
    • Model Summary (architecture, data used, accuracy, etc.)
    • Project documentation
    • Figma Files for UI/UX (if any)
    • Presentation of the proposed solution

The evaluation will be scored out of 100, with an additional 5% available as bonus marks.

Suggested Presentation Format

Each team will present their solution in a 10-minute session:

  • Introduction (1 min): Problem statement and chosen task.
  • Solution Overview (3 min): Approach, technologies used, and key highlights.
  • Demonstration (3 min): Live or video demo of the solution.
  • Impact Explanation (2 min): Discuss the potential real-world applications, scalability, and impact.
  • Q&A (1 min): Address questions from the judges.
Data & Model Usage
  • Teams must cite all datasets and pre-trained models used.
  • Use of private or copyrighted data/models is not allowed without permission.
  • Avoid use of biased or unethical data; teams may be disqualified for inappropriate content or violations of responsible AI practices.
Prohibited Conduct
  • Plagiarism, code stealing, or using another team’s work is grounds for disqualification.
  • Use of AI tools to generate deceptive or harmful content (deepfakes, misinformation, etc.) is prohibited.
  • Any form of harassment or unethical behavior will not be tolerated.
Submission & Deadlines
  • All projects must be submitted by the deadline.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Final submissions will be evaluated in a 10 min solution presentation session.

  • Mentors will be available internally throughout the event to provide technical guidance.

  • Participants are also allowed to seek mentorship from external experts outside the organization.
